WINTER DECORATIONS AT PIATRA NEAMT

,,ASSOCIATION FOR SCIENCE , CULTURE , YOUTH AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION" organized Thursday , December 16  in partnership with ,,Gheorghe Cartianu" Technical College an workshop dedicated to Christmas celebration .

Objectives :
-To refresh popular winter traditions from the North of Moldavia.
-To learn to use wasted materials for creativity development and for environment protection .
-To learn new techniques of garden decoration .
-To celebrate Winter in a beautiful way and make our activity funny and interesting for the boys too.

The workshop was  animated by 2 trainers .

During the workshop a group of young boys created  winter garden decorations .

The traditional masks from Romania are always satiric figures.
Usually  they are representing Romanian village characters but now the boys represented characters from their life in the society of  a modern town .

The masks are  made from little pieces of waste leather  from  the fur industry.
The boys  used chips from the lathe machining of metals like copper and stainless steel to make their  decorations more glamorous .

The mask is used in Romania only by the boys to scare the bed spirits during traditional celebrations .

The little masks with CD support will protect our garden during the winter holiday .
''Craciun fericit ! ", Merry Christmas !,A happy new year !

Do not worry the bed spirits will not come any closer in our garden !
