WINTER DECORATIONS AT PIATRA NEAMT

,,ASSOCIATION FOR SCIENCE , CULTURE , YOUTH AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION" organized Thursday , December 16  in partnership with ,,Gheorghe Cartianu" Technical College an workshop dedicated to Christmas celebration .

Objectives :
-To refresh popular winter traditions from the North of Moldavia.
-To learn to use wasted materials for creativity development and for environment protection .
-To learn new techniques of garden decoration .
-To celebrate Winter in a beautiful way and make our activity funny and interesting for the boys too.

The workshop was  animated by 2 trainers .

During the workshop a group of young boys created  winter garden decorations .

The traditional masks from Romania are always satiric figures.
Usually  they are representing Romanian village characters but now the boys represented characters from their life in the society of  a modern town .

The masks are  made from little pieces of waste leather  from  the fur industry.
The boys  used chips from the lathe machining of metals like copper and stainless steel to make their  decorations more glamorous .

The mask is used in Romania only by the boys to scare the bed spirits during traditional celebrations .

The little masks with CD support will protect our garden during the winter holiday .
''Craciun fericit ! ", Merry Christmas !,A happy new year !

Do not worry the bed spirits will not come any closer in our garden !

We also had a special guest from Japan , mr. USHI YAMA SUSUMU , Japanese, rock musician, ,,pilgrim, hitchhiker" how he is calling himself .

Ushi traveled in 64 countries with the help of the people he met and he still wants to go forward to accomplish his dream that is to visit  and sing  all over the world .
Singing and traveling are  hobbies for him .

We discovered  together that the human most important values are protected by the Universal  Declaration of Human Rights .

"Article 19.
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits.
Everyone has the right to the protection of the moral and material interests resulting from any scientific, literary or artistic production of which he is the author."

Practicing hobbies is a human right .

''Article 26.

Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.

HOW TO FIND FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO ORGANIZE HOBBY BASED LEARNING WORKSHOPS -know-how for schools and NGO managers.

Hobbies are practiced for interest and enjoyment,  and those who  use to practice this  kind of recreational  activities   do not wait for a  financial reward.

Financing is still necessary especially when a hobby  is the   subject of an educational workshop during which the activities are carried out in a team .
Here are the best  solutions to find the financial support for your activities :
-Look for sponsors and/or partners in your local community  !

-The participants can be asked to bring their own tools and materials  . Promise them that the products realized during the workshop  will not be confiscated by the organizers! Everyone will be able to enjoy the results from his own  activity.

-Find volunteers that can animate the workshop and be a volunteer animator yourself !
-Make an exhibition with the best products !

-Organize a party at the end of the activity and provide the best products as prizes in a raffle !Sell tickets to the raffle during the party !
-Be happy, make education a joyful activity so  everybody will learn with pleasure in you workshops and will be happy to share the new achievements .
-I wish you to be enthusiastic , to discover yours and your learners' passions and  much success !
